What are the characteristics of HDPE gas pipe products?

High density polyethylene (High Density Polyethylene, referred to as "HDPE"), also known as low pressure polyethylene, is a high crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The appearance of the original HDPE is milky white, and it is translucent to a certain extent in the meager cross section. PE has excellent resistance to most life and industrial chemicals.
HDPE gas pipe raw materials used in almost all imported raw materials, the main grade is PE100 and PE80.
There is no mass production of PE gas pipe HDPE gas pipe special material in China. The strength and hardness of general high density polyethylene are higher than those of gas pipe special material. But for the pipe, with the passage of time will produce aging phenomenon, its mechanical properties and physical properties will be attenuated, the pipe will be transformed from the initial toughness damage attenuation to the brittle failure after aging.
For the decay aging process, the gas pipe special material is much slower than the general HDPE. Therefore, at present, MDPE is mainly used as a special material for gas pipes.
In the relevant international standards ISO04437-1997 and GB15558.1 standards below MDPE gas pipe materials have strict performance requirements to ensure that under normal circumstances the service life of 50 years.
